My puppie is 12 weeks old (3mnths) and we have just recently started talking her out. She will walk for a little while and then stop and will not move, and when its cold she will just sit there. Why is this? Ive had dogs in the past and none of them have been like this. Should I be concerned?

How cold and what kind of puppy?

Use treats to give her incentive.

Give her "tasks" to do outside.

I wouldn't be worried about it at all.

She is still a baby.

I too would like to know the breed.

Our lab and border collie could sit outside in -30C all day. In fact, we have to lure them inside.

Our beagle is good for around 5 minutes, just long enough to do his thing, then come running back inside to stand in front of the portable heater.

Your puppy is cold. No one likes being cold.

If it's raining or cold I have to practically drag our dogs outside to do their business.
I say the them "You want a wee-wee" and they get all excited so we go to the back door and I open it, they go to run outside and then bawk when they see the weather!

Chewy does the two legged dance. You know, the "holy crap my feet are cold, pick them up, pick them up. Now the other ones are cold!"

He needs booties. He already has a sweater. :o

Haha poor Chewy, it gets a bit colder where you are than where I am!

Ours have coats for winter, nothing fancy or glitzy but they keep them nice and warm.

Booties are a good idea. I know a lot of show dogs that wear them with no problem ;)
