I have been served a default in payment which is a summons to respone to the defaukt in 30 days I would like to know what will then happen after I respone to this notice they are getting a judgement agaist me do I need to call them and try to work out a payment plan I have serveral credit cards I can't pay on my husbands lost his job and I am on socail sercuity disabilty what do I need to do.

First, it's not a good idea to piggy back your question onto someone else's. It makes it harder for us to find your question and answer it; I've asked that it be moved to a new thread.

Second, you don't get served a default. You get served a summons which states that you are being sued. If you don't show up for court, then a default judgment will be entered against you.

You should try and work out a payment schedule prior to the judgment being put into place. Once they have a judgment, they don't have to settle and they don't have to accept payments. They can - and will - use any legal means to obtain their money.
