I love browsing and shopping at consignment stores. I am going to retire in 2 years and want to open a consignment store myself. Does anyone know how their color code tags system work? Whenever I went to these stores, I saw they have sale based on the color of the tags and I cannot figure it out. Does it mean they use specific color for each season?

Ask them, I have never seen it, any color code was more price and discout allowed ( based on what the final sale price the owner requires)

The issue on consignment is that the stock is not owned by the sore manager or owner, so the person who cosigns it, has final control of selling price
