I evicted a tenant, through proper California procedure. The court ruled in my favor and awarded money to me (fees, back rent, etc). The tenant has since moved out but has not paid the money he owes. I don't want to go through a drawn out expensive procedure so what is the most quick, easiest, uncostly way to get a writ of garnishment on his bank account executed?

Sue them for the unpaid rents and get a judgement

In my state, I have never accomplished a successful garnishment... they quit or get fired before the garnishment is carried through. I have wasted money 3 time trying to collect. The court clerk never gets in a hurry to send in paperwork to employers, I have tracked down names and address and phone number of employer, emp # or SS# and birthdate of garnishee... to no avail... cut your losses and move on...
