My dad is 86 and he went to a dentist, to get dentures. After $6700.00 and 34 visits he still has no dentures and his mouth and teeth are a mess! I want to know if anyone has any advise on what to do. This has all been since Apr of 2009. Don't u think he's had ample time to fix his teeth?

You need to report this dentist to the Dental Board of Arizona. 34 visits is way too many visits and still no teeth.

Has all of his teeth been pulled at this place, Is there other health issues that makes pulling teeth issues. Has there been infections or bad results from teeth being pulled.

Has there been plates made but trouble with the fit

He wanted all his teeth pulled but the dentist wouldn't do it- there fore he has various plates that won't stay in his mouth. He has so much trouble he won't wear them. I told hime he needs to see a lawyer to get some of his money back. No he doesn't have any health issues.

Definitely contact the State Dental Association and file a formal complaint. You should get some if not all your money back if the dentist has done something wrong. I'd suggest you take your dad to a denturist and have him/her make the dentures. They do it all day long and usually have more experience.
Good luck!

I removed the name of the dentist from your initial post and deleted the second posting. We have no idea whether the story you are telling is accurate or not. Therefore we cannot be a party to posting derogatory info about this dentist. Please do not try to repost the name again.

I called his dentist to get all of his records and he gave my Dad a check for 2600.00 back. Ya think he felt a little guilty? 34 visits since April is ridiculous! I called the dental board and the better business bureau and got no satisfation.

I asked you NOT to post the name. I have, again removed it. Any further attempt to post it will result in being banned.

I'm happy to hear you were able to get some of your dad's money back.
If you feel the need, check RateMDs.com | Find a doctor - Doctor ratings and reviews - Doctor vitals (http://www.rateMD.com), at this site you can look up the dentist your father saw, see what others have said about him but like ScottGem says NEVER, EVER post the name here on this site.
