My brother is in the marines and is getting deployed soon. He was trying to go to sleep last night when he realized a red light coming from the hallway. Everyone was sleeping except for him. He was scared so he closed his eyes for a few seconds and noticed the light was passed him and heading up the stairs. He ignored it and tried to go to sleep but was interupted by a presence of a tall shadow he said walking toward him with swords all over it or carrying a sword. He looked at it and it backed up and disappeared. Later he tried to go to sleep again and was dreaming he was shaking and woke up to see a half animal half man looking figure that resembled a cat shaking him. He got scared and left the room. When I woke up for work he told me this. I tried to research some of it but could not find anything. Could somebody please give me some information?

Maybe it may be a consequence of being a Marine, has he been anywhere that he has had to "clean up"? How many times has he seen it? Maybe it could be, and includes solutions:
1) Stress or some kind of War syndrome- Psychologist or Therapist
-or-
2)Supernatural phenomena- Maybe he should contact a Spiritualist.

Hope it works out. :)

Most of the men in my family are in some sort of branch in the military.
My father has been a marine for over 20 years, and my step-brother just joined a year ago.
I'm sure they have dreams and fear.

My uncle who was in the army suffers from Post Traumatic Stress.

If he's been in combat before, then he might be having a psycological reaction to the fear of returning, or he is very scared of going.

I'd say pray for him.
