When I turn my TV on it states no snyc siganl when you turn it on. The TV was working fine before cable TV outage. It is connected to a HD cable box.

Have you tried rescanning the channels on your set? Sometimes that is the problem. If that does not do the trick I would suggest you call your cable provider and have them send someone out. If everything worked fine before the outage, then it's them and not you so rescanning the channels hopefully is the problem. The same thing happened to me back in November and rescanning my LCDtv for the channels fixed the problem. But my cable company had some major problems and the whole line up was really out of whack for weeks until they went in and redid more than half of the channels back to where they were. I have a QAM tuner in my set hooked up to cable.
