My new laptop came with norton 09 security but every time I install it I lose all connection to the internet when I uninstall it everything is fine but I want to be able to install it and still have internet connection

In my humble opinion, uninstall all Norton products before you get asked to pay. Install any of the very good free AV products such as: Avira (http://www.free-av.com/).
