View Full Version : What is the start cap in a well pump control boxtrol box

The well pump will only run when I push the rest button on the bottom of the control box, it will run the full cycle bring up the pressure fully until pressure switck kicks it off
, I can run a hose on full for about 10 minutes before the pressure switch kicks on which is also normal but to get it to start again I have to hit the rest buutton

These sites might help you, especially the last one. I am not sure what you mean by the "control box". You might be referring to the switch, but it sounds more like the capacitor. At any rate, take a look at these sites and get back to us. If you mean you are having to reset your switch, that's a different story.
