My husband and I installed the Avian fan we received for Christmas. It does not work. We checked that power is getting to the fan, power is also coming through the "remote receiver" - but the fan does not work nor the light. So we went and got another fan - still doesn't work. All we can assume that is that we are either doing something wrong - or two bad fans. We also tried different combinations for the switch on fan/remote. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm with you. I just put one up as a replacement. Nothing! If someone could let me know. Is it the dip switch or is it something with the land wire in to AC receiver? I would like to know cause I couldn't find them.
