We have a lennox central heat (electric)/air system and it is blowing cold air when set for heat. What could be the problem and what can we do to start narrowing some of the maybe's down to the right thing?

If this is a heat pump system, assure the outdoor unit is running. Try using the auxiliary/emergency heat selection on the thermostat, if present.
