A few months ago I was fortunate to purchase an old chair. I have studied the form and style of the chair, tested the wood type and other features that I deemed important in understand the period and availbility of such chairs, yet I would like to know what you feel to be the most important things about an antique chair in determing it's value.
I'm including a video of the chair on this link:rescuelifeproducts's Page - I Antique Online (http://www.iantiqueonline.ning.com/profile/rescuelifeproducts)

If a joint was dovetailed by hand, it has only a few dovetails, and they aren't exactly even
