My hp dv6000 when turned on goes to the screen with the bar starts loading then just stops and won't let me too anything

Try to start it in safe mode, if it does, schedule a scandisk for the next boot. Run a chkdks and reboot. Post back with what you find.

If above does not work out but you can get into safe mode, try and do a system restore back to an earlier/date time when there was no problem

Start, programs, acces, system tools, system restore and choose a date when no issues
