Maybe the batteries went bad again,, try killing the power at breaker box for furnace wait a minute and turn it back on, this sometimes reboots the tstat

My ideas, since I came up empty handed and the tstat is new.

Did the stat slide on a rug for any length of time. i.e dropped? Slide on a Car seat etc.

1. did you remove the internal battery tab? Pull paper.

Re-boot as above, first.

2. Did you go through the "Installer test" procedure? Any errors reported?

3. Since this is new, care to tell us a bit about your system?

4. Can you do a "reset to factory defaults"?

That stat can be very intimodating.

Misread the comma. That's what migraines do.

I found a few things, but nothing conclusive. What I found was possible outdoor sensor issues. Who knows. EE could mean EE prom like can't read confiuration. Might mean that internal lithium cell is shot. Power off for too long.

ANy other ideas?

Easy t locate manuals are at Furnace Filters, Air Conditioner Filters, Air Quality - iaqsource (http://www.iaqsource.com). Honeywell's site is impossible if you don't know how to navigate it.
