On my desktop PC in device manager under other devices (PCI Modem) this device is not configured correctly ( code 1). Location:PCI bus 2,device 9,function 0.So can somebody tell what this means and what I need to do to fix this.

First question is do you really need a simple dial up modem, if not don't worry about it.

If you do there are standard v90/92 drivers with most current versions of windows so a separate driver isn't really needed.
