I have been living with my boyfriend for nine years in the nine years we were together I bought a house which loan is in my name... as a single woman... all bills are in my name yes in the beginning he has helped me pay bills... no he does not... he stays on my third floor.. finished... he does help pay half the mortgage which he choose to call rent so I gave him a receiept saying that is for the rent... things are very unhealthy between us.. I have a 12 year old daughter who is not his... the relationship is over... but he will not leave what can I do to move on with my life... and so should he...

What state are you in?
If he doesn't want to leave, you'll have to have him legally evicted.

There are a number of other similar posts with good answers for you. Look at the right hand column of your screen and you will see the same titles, "boyfriend eviction".

Here is a good one:

While looking through previously posted questions is an excellent idea (I do wish more people would), laws do sometimes vary from state to state. Ca laws certainly vary from Ohio laws.

As long as he is not on the deed or the mortgage, you may just give him notice to move and if he does not evict him
