My land lord recently went behind my back and asked my roommate if she wanted him to put her name on my lease and take my name off.Im half black and my land lord has made it quite clear that he has a distain for African Americans. I have been living in my apartment for the last six months and my roommate has only been here for a couple of weeks. My land lord found out I was mixed with black when my family came to visit. Would this be considered discrimination. What can be done if he were to actually remove my name from t he lease and put hers on without my consent.

Yes, it would be discrimination but you have to prove it.

How long have you lived at the property? How long of a lease did you sign? What is the remainder of the lease?

Do you have a signed copy of your lease? If so, that lease is still in force. Please answer the questions asked above.

It is simple, they just can't break your lease( they can't "take" your name off)you have your copy, if they try to evict you, merely don't move, when they try to take you to court for an eviction, merely show your copy of the lease. Also they need to be reported to the EEOC and the BBB for discrimination
