My water stopped working at all points checked at the tank ( I have a sub. Pump,drilled well) it still showed pressure in the tank, checked breaker it was fine. Was waiting for the morn. To call plumber and in the midddle of the night the sound of the pressure switch could be heard. Now it seems to work fine again.Any ideas.

A few things could cause this.
1) the over load on the motor kicked off and reset.
2) The small tube that supplies pressure to the control could have become clogged and then unclogged itself **OR**
The "Pump Fairy " came in the middle of the night and repaired your problem. It's difficult to tell what went wrong when it's working normally. Good luck, Tom
