There's a song by Paramore called Brick by Boring Brick. What is it about? The lyrics are:

She lives in a fairy tale
Somewhere too far for us to find
Forgotten the taste and smell
Of the world that she's left behind
It's all about the exposure the lens I told her
The angles were all wrong now
She's ripping wings off butterflies
keep your feet on the ground
when your head's in the clouds
Well go get your shovel
And we'll dig a deep hole
To bury the castle, bury the castle
Well go get your shovel
And we'll dig a deep hole
To bury the castle; bury the castle
Ba da ba ba da ba ba ha
So one day he found her crying
Coiled up on the dirty ground
Her prince finally came to save her
And the rest you can figure out
But it was a trick
And the clock struck 12
Well make sure to build your house brick by boring brick
or the wolves going to blow it down
keep your feet on the ground
when your head's in the clouds
Well go get your shovel
And we'll dig a deep hole
To bury the castle, bury the castle
Well you built up a world of magic
Because your real life is tragic
Yeah you built up a world of magic
If it's not real
You can't hold it in your hand
You can't feel it with your heart
And I won't believe it
But if it's true
You can see it with your eyes
Or even in the dark
And that's where I want to be, yeah
Go get your shovel
We'll dig a deep hole
To bury the castle, bury the castle
Guys x2:
ba da ba ba da da ba da...
Hayley x2:
ba da ba ba da ba ba da...
out. The lyrics are:

I came tto this link and website on Google when I was looking for the meaning, I gathered some data before that

I think it means that a girl is making up an unrealistic fantasy world of her own, because her real life is miserable and stuff, and the part 'Well make sure to build your house brick by boring brick
Or the wolves going to blow it down' means you should stop the fantasy and realize your REAL life and make it better before something else bad happens.. and
"Go get your shovel
We'll dig a deep hole
To bury the castle, bury the castle" means that hey, lets bla bla bla, try to stop what your doing, (doing drugs and making up the unrealism) (bury the castle= get rid of your fake fantasyinstead of your real importannt life) .
Its so hard 2 explain

It's helpful to refer to the video for more clues (you can find it on youtube).

Because of the repetition of the monarch motif, there's been a lot of theorizing that the song has to do with child abuse (check out monarch programming on the web... it has to do with the way an abused individual will eventually disassociate and create a fantasy world to escape the abuse, if only mentally).

There are also a lot of drug references in the video... the mushrooms, the datura flower that the child admires, the Alice in Wonderland references... all escapes.
