I signed a lease and gave a security deposit on an apartment yesterday. Can I get out of it today?

Yes, some of us are here. :)
The only way you can cancel the lease is if the lease itself gives you the right to do so. There is no law that gives you that right. Try contacting the landlord to see if they will let you out of the lease. The usual procedure is that they will try to re-rent the apartment and you will be responsible for the rent until they have a new tenant. But if you speak to them immediately they may let you out in return for 2 weeks or 1 month rent payment.

First this is not a "instant" answer, our experts do this on their free time, often in the evening, on their lunch hours at their regular job, experts here are not paid to answer.
So it may take hours to get an answer, and several days to get some of the better ones. Most often experts may need additional information.
Such as
1. was money paid at the time of the signing of the lease.
2. is there any clause in the lease that allow you out.
Normally there are not any out, and you are obligated to the entire lease.
They may let you out for a fee or payment
