We just purchased a motorhome and was told the propane lines were good 2 years ago (the last time they were used) but would like to check them first. We have found all the info to do it ourselves except what equipment to do it with. We have a air compressor, is there a compressor to propane fitting we need to get? Or am I going in the wrong direction?

Thanks

By the time you fiddle around trying to purchase the equipment why don't you just have the unit tested professionally? Unless, of course, you want to go around testing propane lines for a living.

Electric leak sniffers are available along with a good quality bubble soap mix can do the lines but for a real pressure test you need to spens some $$ on the proper equipment. I have owned a motorhome for many years and never tested the propane lines so I have no idea why you are testing yours.
