I have an antique sewing machine from Montgomery Ward & Co in Chicago. It has the number 1481849 on it. Any idea how old it is?

Would you be able to post an image of your machine here? There appears to be some difficulty with the dating of the Montgomery Ward sewing machines because they most likely were manufactured by another company.
