Today the lights in my sons room & all outlets stopped working, including the light & half the outlets in my room & the hallway. We have only 1 GFI plug & its in my bathroom which is working fine. We replaced a breaker in the box which says (lights & plugs) and still nothing. We've flipped all the breakers & see that they all control something. But not sure what else to do.. Any help will be appreciated!

Sounds like your circuit dropped a leg. Start by testing for 120 volts right off the screws on the breaker, if you find power move down the line to test each receptacle, switch and light. Things to keep an eye out for are multiple wires wrapped around a screw, fix with a pig tal. Look for back stab connects, use the side screws instead. Something has likely come lose, could be a hot or a neutral

Reading continuity of what? You have a feed or neutral line not connected.
Go to the first outlet connected to the breaker that is working. Pull that outlet and look for a loose, disconnected or burned wire.
