I have a 1999 fird taurus se, I have no forward gears only reverse. I place the car in drive and I heard a loud clunk noise and vehicle would not go forwarad, it doesn't apear to be going past park, I tried to push the vehicle and it will not move forward as though it is still in park.

If the problem persists, check the Transmission Range Sensor--it may be bad or out of adjustment.
