Hello. I am hoping somecan can give some ideas for a fix.
I just had a brand new Luxaire 95% + gas furnace installed in my home. Intermitantly I get the 4 red flashes error, the heat turns off and the blower stays on. Sometimes it corrects itself and fires up again while attempting to satisfy the thermostat set temp, but if room temp is already satisfied during the error code - blower never turns off and I have to go kill the breaker to reset. It mainly only happens when it is on for a long period (i.e. recovering 5 degreees or so from being off for a while ( program thermastat). Almost like it's getting too hot and kicking off , then cools and kicks back on? Anyone?

Contact the company or person who installed this furnace as what you are describing should not happen if this furnace was properly installed in the first place.

Lets just say that's easier said than done. I need to try to troubleshoot myself. Anyone know what the 4 blink code means? It definitely seems like t only happens when it's on for a while and reaches too high of a temperature. Filter is brand new.

Hello, I'm having the same problem with my Luxaire 95%. I just had it installed 3 month ago... I'm not sure what is causing this, but I'm going to call the person who installed it.. if any one have any idea about this problem occurring with Luxaire products?

There is a complete diagram on the back side of the blower access door. It will tell you what the code means.

If unit was installed by a professional, they need to come back and fix the issue. If not installed by a pro, then your best bet is to have a pro into look the system over, as it probably wasn't installed or sized correctly. If the unit was installed by a pro, it would all be under warranty and wouldn't cost you a dime, but if it was installed by a non licensed person, it may cost some big bucks to fix the problem, if you can even find a pro to touch the thing.

mrfizz2222. I think you have the right idea about calling in the installer.

Broz, why can't you call in the installer?
