And I can't figure it out. When I got to work he asked my year of birth. I said, "1962, why?". He said he was just curious then a few minutes later he gave me a 1964 silver quarter with a piece of paper that said, "ottdo wbcmf bgtm' Then a few hours later he gave me more letters, "assq'. He says I have until Christmas Eve to figure it out. Also, I'm a goldsmith if that has anything to do with this thing.

Oops! I was just told it is all one line without spaces so the letters would be as follows: "ottdowbcmfbgtmassq"

I was going to suggest this site for finding words made up of those letters... if they were like in your original post but I don't think it will work for the entire ting try it anyway :)
