Hi there. 20yr old here. I am currently 10days overdue. My last period was October 30th, my periods can be irregular, but I'm not stressed or on any med's? My partner and I checked the calender when I "might" have conceived and it would have happened on 20th November.
I am having cramping at the minute this past few days (lower abdominal), headaches, I'm not so sure on the excess cervical discharge, but the first 2 or 3 days after I realised I was late, only when I wiped myself did I notice a REALLY watered down reddy/brown discharge? Its stopped now.
My breasts are sore, I've noticed white spots around my nipple area, but don't know if these has become more noticeable than before? I've taken 2 hpt, both negative.
Other problems I've been having is being irritable, nausea more at night and early morning, I've no energy, sometimes a weird taste in my mouth, but not a constant taste.. I could go on! It just feels like I would normally when its time 4 my period, but still a no show, I don't think I've ever been this late before? I just need another opinion, cause I haven't got anyone close enough to talk to cause it would be round the country!
p.s. Im trying 2 avoid the gp at this stage cause I don't want to look like a fool thinking I'm pregnant when it might not be..
If any help or advice can be given id very much appreciate it! Thank u

Your chances are 50/50. The symptoms you describe are either PMS or pregnancy. You see, these symptoms can be identical.

Since you say you are not regular, you should wait another week, then test again using first morning urine. If that is still negative, wait another week and test again. If this last one is still negative, time for a doctor's appointment.

Until that time, treat yourself as if you are pregnant. Go out and get some prenatal vitamins.

Can I also add, I stopped taking the pill last year, due to medical reasons.
So we used no contraception that night, foolish me I know! My tummy is tender to touch at the sides (parallel to my bellybutton) sometimes it travels all around my tummy area and lower abdominal.. I was a bit constipated last week, but think its past..
The scariest thing is not knowing!
And under my ribcage is a bit sore too...

I know that it's scary not knowing but we can't tell you. Only a pregnancy test can determine whether you're pregnant. Symptoms are not something to go by because pregnancy symptoms and PMS symptoms are identical.

You'll have to wait then test again, like J9 said.
