I have two neighbors that have dogs that bark all day while the owners are away at work. I purchased a "Dog Silencer Pro", a device that emitted a high pitched sound a couple of years ago. It was sold as an item that would not hurt the dog's ears. I installed the device as required by the instructions. I could hear the sound, so I knew it was working. I wasted about $100.00 on the device as it did not work. It has been a couple of years now, and the same dogs are barking as I write this.

I find those devices to be cruel. Of course they hurt the dogs' ears. That's why they (in theory) work.

Have you tried to talk to your neighbors or called Animal Control?

I know, it's a piggyback. Wonder if it's too late to split the second question off?

Have you spoken with the neighbours dogtired?

Perhaps if they knew how much a problem their dogs had become they might do something about it
I don't know about the US but here you an report them to the RSPCA or even the local council if they are barking excessively
