I had my hair dyed on Saturday 5th from blond to dark brown. Brown is my natural colour and for the past 2 years I have been having blond highlights . I didn't have the money to go to the salon so all the blond was dissappearing and all my roots had gone back to brown this is when I decided to dye it all dark brown. Although I love the colour I have some blond showing through at the sides and I'm desperate to dye it again but don't know how long I have to leave it before doing it again. My sister who coloured it for me said I have to wait 4 weeks. Please tell me this is not true as I'm embarrassed at the blond bits poking through it looks awful.

There's no specified time to wait. That's because hair doesn't heal. There's really only one consideration, and that's your scalp. If the scalp is irritated, it's a poor idea to dye your hair until it heals. Your sister is uninformed.
