I just moved into a new area and have opened a B&B and would like to introduce myself to other B&B's.

Okay, that is a good idea. Do you need to know what to say? I don't think it has to be specific as you are introducing yourself as another B&B. They would all know basically how you operate. Just say your name, where you came from and the members of your family. I would not mention pricing, that would get into the competitive sector.

Check whether you have a trade association in the area or a small business network. Meeting people is often better than a written communication. Do you have a tourist information service in your area? Pop in to see them to get yourself on their list for referrals and also to establish yourself as someone who is good to do business with.
Think about what you're going to say when you meet/contact them. Talk about referrals from them if they are fully booked and vice versa. Make sure you portray yourself and your B&B as something that could create more business for them rather than someone who will take customers away.

Hi, pajamas54!
What would be your purpose in introducing yourself to other B&B's, please? It would be helpful to know that.
Thanks!
