My ex drinks and takes drugs. He hs been having supervised visits to see my daughter who is just 2. When we get on OK he rarley asks to see her but when we are not getting on he makes a point of seeing her. Few weeks ago he askes to see me and because I declined he handed me papers for court proceedings to have unsupervised vists. He also told me if I have a relationship with him he won't take it to court. I have no idea what is going to happen. Ill e get unsupervised visits will they test him for drink ad drugs? Has anyone had a similar situation?

If he has in fact filed a motion to modify his visitation order to include unsupervised visits, then the judge will hear the matter and listen to him present his case as to why he feels he should have unsupervised visits. If you object, you'll have the opportunity to so state and give your reasons for your objection. In the end, the judge will weigh all the evidence with which (s)he's presented and make a decision based on that. Right now there's really no way to predict what'll happen. The judge may decide to grant or deny his motion. If the judge rules in his favor then the current visitation order will be modified to include unsupervised visits. If the judge rules against him, then there'll be no modification and things will remain the same as they are now.
