Hi all
My system uses a gas furnace and an electric air conditioner.
I have decided to install my Noma 5 + 2 Programmable Thermostat model 52-2557-0 from Candian Tire. There are 4 terminals on the back
G R Y W
My old thermostat was a Honeywell FocusPro TH5000 Series
I have a Red Wire, Black Wire, Green Wire and a Blue Wire (which is my White I believe) These were all hooked up to the honeywell in the following manner:
Rc Red wire. R Black wire These were jumpered together.
W had the blue wire
G had the Green wire
I have installed my new Noma like this:
Both the Red and Black wires going to R
I have BLue going to W
I have Green going to G
There was also a brown and an orange wire that were not being used by the old thermostat. I did not connect these
The heat works correctly. I did not test the A/C since it is winter.
My problem is I can't get the fan to turn off. It runs constantly regardless of if it is set in Auto or ON in the controls.
Thanks for your time;
Logan
