I just lost custody of my two children in October the judge didn't like the idea that I had moved out of the state of Texas to go to school and work and I couldn't afford a social study so she awarded custody to my ex-husband and now I get to travel to Texas one weekend a month to visit with no money for a motel or food I go to school full time and work part time I have bills to pay and a 18 month old to support so I haven't been able to visit them is there anything I can do to get my children back.

Yes. You can find out what the State of Texas expects you to do as a parent, comply and file for the return of your children.

Sure. Prove to the court that your children are more important than school or work. I think you'll have to move back in order to do that.
