I had a problem with my son's father so I didn't put his name on the birth certificate. I don't want to put the father on child support because he helps me when he can. All I want to do is the right thing and put his name in his son's birth certificate.

Sorry not getting a formal child custody agreement and a formal child support agreement is not "doing the right thing"

Please get a specific court order for the rights of the child, not for being nice to the "daddy". He will merely have to pay a pre decided amount based on income

My issue is that I don't feel bad for him. At the time in the hospital my family was with me and they didn't want me to put the fathers name down on the birth certificate so I didn't put it. Now my family seen he wants to clean up his act and be there for his son and move in with me and the family. I just want to put his name down because I didn't get to make my own decision in the hospital

It has to be added in family court, where all the other issues will need to be addressed also
