I have a lg phone older model lg vx8350. The phone is broken display and flip broken but it still works. Changed over to a new phone is there a software out there or a way to get photos and text messages off this phone. I do have a cord that goes from the phone to usb on my computer.

Normally the phone store where you buy the new phone can do that for you.

Yep they will for pictures and contacts but to be more specific I also need text messages. I am playing around with the program bit pim got all the info off the phone but having problems getting back on the new phone. Doing this via a sd card.
