I don't have life insurance. I was just wondering if anyone knew a good, affordable (mainly) place to get it from for a 22 year old?

Try and contact a life insurance broker.
Make doubly sure that you know what you are purchasing.
DO NOT BE SOLD!

Sorry that I missed this...

I tend to lean towards purchasing from bigger companies because they have greater assets to pay out death claims and often the claims process is easier and faster. Check out their ratings on: Stock Quotes, Financial Market & Wall Street News |Personal Finance & Investing Advice | TheStreet.com (http://www.thestreet.com)

This lets you know the financial security of companies so you can best decide who to use.

I'm not sure of your situation but think about if you want enough to cover just debts and burial expenses or if want to replace your income for a certain number of years for your spouse and/or children you leave behind.

Then figure out your budget. Decide what you can spend comfortably each month/year. A policy is no good to your loved ones if you can't afford to keep the premiums paid.
