I now it's an old truck but the dashboard just started falling apart last year if I purchase a new one does anyone know how to install it ? Was it hard.

There way too many steps to simply list here.
Your "new" I/P should be used as a guide. Bear in mind, many items need to be removed and reinstalled in proper order to get everything back in.
Harnesses need positioned and supported. Connectors need to be securely reconnected.
You may even need to disable your vehicle's supplementary restraint system to safely remove the steering wheel and instrument panel.
Will it be hard? Most definitely! Hard and time consuming, too.
