I recently had to wipe my hard drive and reinstall my operating system (windows xp pro). Good times. I'm trying now to get the internet set back up again but I'm running into difficulties. My computer (desktop) connected to our wireless network before with the help of this card (not the cards you get through telephone providers but the other ones). I installed the drivers that came with the card but I really have no idea what to do next. Any idea? I know this worked before I just don't know how... *sigh*

You should be able to go into the Wireless Network wizard, look for the network you want to connect to, and connect to it. If it's a secured network (I hope it is), you need to know the password.

There is no wireless wizard :( I know what you are talking about though because I see it on my other computer which is basically the same computer (only it's working unlike this other... difficult child) *sigh*

Edit: okay! I've gotten the wireless network wizard now by updating to service pack 2. Tried the wizard... it was asking me to plug my wireless card into other things... weird...
