We are driving down the road and a buzzer comes on . It will go off sometimes but it stays on most of the time .The buzz sounds like it is coming from instrument panel.I have checked all fluids and etc... and they are fine We just had the AC compressor replaced This is the only work done to it since I have owned it

. Remove and fully charge the battery. Most auto parts stores will do this for free. Relays will often "chatter," when the battery is deeply discharged.

. Check all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter:

. Try specifically isolating where the buzz is coming from, by using a mechanic's stethoscope. Feel around--you may be able to feel a relay, for instance, buzzing. Check for intermittent codes that may not trigger the Check Engine Light. These codes, if there are any, may lead you in the right direction. Afterwards, reset the ECM.

Use a code reader, attached to the data link connector under the dash.
