The age of father is twice the square of the age of his son. Eight years hence, the age of the father will be 4 years more than three times the age of the son. Find present ages?

2x^2 = (4 + 3x) - 8

Find the value of x and that will give you the son's age. If you plug it into either side you will get the father's age.

*Hint, this looks a lot like a quadratic equation.

Any questions, just ask.

P.S. I hate word problems.
