I picked up a packet of WEETABIX OATIBIX BITES ( sultana & apple) from a supermarket as it gave me to understand that it can be eaten as it is like biscuits. I have the habit of munching something intermittently whether at home or my office. Can they be consumed like biscuits that we do have along with tea or coffee ? Or is it necessary to put it in hot or cold milk & prepare a cereal. It's very tasty indeed. But how come that I feel full after 3 or 4 bites ? I feel some sort of a heaviness after munching 3 or 4. My friend who's diabetic also picked up one from the supermarket. Is it OK for him ?

We have a weetabix plant in town. Actually oatibix bites are a morning cereal but any similar cereal can be eaten as a snack and I often much on cheerios. You can eat them any way you darn well please, tribune ! You feel full after three or 4 bites because they are bulking you up as any good cereal would containing wheatgerm and bran, etc.
As for diabetics, well I haven't seen the side panel to notice how much salt and sugar is in the mix. That is all a diabetic has to worry about is the amount of sugar.

They can be eaten like a cereal by you, but not your friend. Read the label, particularly the nutrition panel. They have a lot of sugar in them.
Treat them like high fiber biscuits. They have more calories than you think.
