My home is split in two where a small apartment was made in half of the house the back porchlight comes on and off by a switch which is in each side of the house. I changed the bulbs and ever since I changed them I cannot turn the light on or off unless the other side of the house has the light on and I turn it off then I can turn it on if the other side of the house turns it off first I cannot turn it on from my switch.

What you probably have is two 3-way switches, one in each half of the house. Some one change the switch in the other half to a regular single pole switch. Does the switch in the other half have on and off on imprinted on the toggle?

Punctuation and capitalization would really help. As it is, your description is ambiguous. My guess is that the switch in the 'other side of the house' is failing. Depending on the circuit topology it could also be yours, just replace one at a time, they are not that expensive.

Yes, there is nothing that changing a bulb would do that I can think of.

I guess strange question, was it the same type of bulb,
