What is wrong with me? This is so strange. EVERY thing I do makes my eyes hurt and feel "pressurized." Lifting any amount of weight, sitting down, standing up, lifting my legs, walking up stairs, reading, crouching EVERYTHING! It makes me feel like there is something pushing against my eyes, like they are about to fall out.

I've always been so, so worried about my eyes and going blind. I have tried praying to anything that would just make this stop! Ive slept days away. Sometimes I live with one eye closed or both half-open. As I'm writing this my eyes are hurting! I just came from lunch and as I was sitting and eating, it hurt. Like bending forward just a little bit would bring pressure. I'm wondering if this is all in my head because going blind is my greatest fear and my mind is f**king me up? What's going on? Please help me

You need to see a Physician - no one here can diagnose what could very well be serious from a description of the symptoms posted on the Internet.

Let us know what the Doctor says.

Hi, guineapigging!

I concur with Judy, that for you to be properly diagnosed, you need to be seeing a physician. Also, it would be more to your benefit to be seeing a physician in person who can visit with you and examine you in person rather than using the online sites to "guess" as to what might be going on.

Thanks!

Thank you for both your answers. The thing is I don't think there's much they can do. I don't know how to explain it to a doctor or my parents. Ive been thinking maybe its high blood pressure? But I'm 14 and not overweight. I will be seeing a doctor. Thanks again.

Hi again, guineapigging!

I'm glad that you'll be going to a doctor! Please let us know what the doctor says. Once a doctor examines you and performs tests, you'll feel better because of taking action to be examined and tested and really knowing what's going on because of doing so.

Thanks!
