I am over my late 20's and have never had acne before in my life not even as a teenager.
Genetically neither side of my family ever have had acne fortunatley.

However, late last year I had a massive break out. At the time I was eating a lot of sugary foods and chocolates with may have contributed to the problem. I was not stressed.

I had been using only Loreal skin care products for years and at this point was showing a built up intolerance.

I found out that as my skin is sensitive oily/combination. Loreal contain harrmful Comedones and irritants.

So I tried out the new Boots No.7 skin care range which I reacted to. I then left it for the Liz Earle Range which has some natrual leaves and plants that are gave me something like tiny bump nettle rashes.

Clarins and Clinique also contain Comedones and irritants like peanut oil which are harmful abrasives especially for sensitive skin.

Who has similar experiences, what do you use and who can I go to for professional skin testing and advice?

Thank You

You can always go to a dermatologist and seek advice. There is ALL kinds of products out there.

Try Cetaphil lotions and cleansers - they are non-comedogenic. For make-up - try Neutrogena - most all of their products are also non-comedogenic.

My daughter has sensitive skin as well (Clinique makes her break out) and this is what her dr. recommended.

Good Luck.
