My washing machine just stopped spinning tonight. I've had it since 05 and there's no warranty left :( Any suggestions on getting it fixed or what's wrong with it??

Our Kenmore front load also quit spinning, also purchased in 05. I believe there should be a recall on this machine. I took the back plate off, and found BOTH shock absorbers broken. Our machine doesn't get a lot of use! The spinning problem looks to be the door latch? Not very impressed with this early break down. Have you solved yours?
