I am from India and I did my Masters in USA. Currently I am on H-1 Visa and working in USA for a company andI bought some stocks through some broker and they are asking me to file W-8BEN. I am confused whether I should file that form or I am not eligible for that

You are in the U.S. on H1-B so you are resident. You do not file W-8BEN; your provide them your SSN or file W-9.
