I have trouble remembering the formation of tenses in Spanish and French
I do both of these at school for 2/4 of my gcse courses, I find coursework difficult because they ask for you to write in the past, present and future and I just cannot remember the formations I've tried: look, spell, check; repetition of the words; finding patterns for them; writing them over and over; looking at pictures and everything - I'm in set 1 of 7 for french (1 being top, 7 being bottom) and I'm in set 2 of 7 for spanish. Anyone who can give me a few ways of remembering the tenses please answer - thank you!

From what I could remember of French lessons;
The Imperfect tense is easy to remember when conjugating.
Take the 'nous' (we) part of the verb, take away 'ons' and add the following letters:
je = ais
tu = ais
il/elle = ait
nous = ions
vous = iez
ils/elles = aient

The Perfect tense is a little complicated and will take a bit more studying.
Did your teacher mention a MR VANS TRAMPED, it is part of how mine taught me parts of the perfect tense verbs,but I can't remember the whole thing now, it has been a while.

I think doing two languages at once might also be confusing as each has its own set of rules for conjugation.

You might try this scrapbook idea, you will be able to use and reuse the same words of your lessons and become more familiar with them as you continue to add them to the scrapbook.

Also look at this site, they give simple explanations,might help a bit.
