I have a Hampton Bay low voltage outdoor light transformer thet stopped functioning. I checked the ac voltage at the wall plug and that is OK. When I push the button on front of box to select mode of operation nothing happens. What is happening?

Outdoor transformer do go bad. I count myself lucky to get 3-4 years out of them. To test plug the unit in and put low voltage test leads on the two contacts on the units bottom. Rotate the timer 360, if you never detect low voltage I'd say its Home Depot time.

I have a HB low voltage transformer that was installed by the previous home owner. It is only a couple of years old but when I select the ON button, it cycles the lights on and off continuously. Anybody know what the problem is?
