I purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio Washer about 4 months ago. Our clothes and towels come out of the dryer with a bad odor. I have ran the washer through the washer cleaning cycle two times. Once with the sample cleaning tablet that came with the washer, and once with the Tide brand washer cleaner. The clothes still smell musty. I know these washers are water savers but during the wash cycle the water does not even cover the clothes. Should the water level at least cover the clothes?

Whirlpool used technology from foreign manufacturers (fischer-paykel) when they developed the Cabrio. It's an excellent HE washer. The water does not cover the clothing. The musty smell in towels and clothing is being transferred from the washer. Smelly Washer Cleaner is guaranteed to remove odor from them all but the washer must be cleaned first. After the odor is gone washing habits must be changed. Advice on what should be changed can be found on our featured post on the blog page at smellywasher.com /
