I'm in my mid-40's with a teenage son who is a loner. My problem is that teenage kids have been harassing me for over 4 months (off and on), mostly on weekends. They started this because of a sign I had put up regarding neighbors. I took this sign down once the harassment started in hopes that it would quit; however, it continues. They call me names, vandalize my vehicles, have stolen some of my property, speak sexually towards me, have "mooned" me, shine laser lights through my front window, ring my doorbell and run off, pounds on my bay windows as well as my door and run off, have thrown tomatoes and other things at my house. The local cops did surveillance in an unmarked car for a few weekends and only stopped two vehicles. I think this is like 3-4 different groups of kids doing this. I need to know what, if any other agency's I can call for help. I'm disabled with back problems and depression, my son is biracial-so in reality these kids if they would ever get caught could face some very serious charges as it could be sexual harassment (as I'm female & most of them are male at least the ones who mooned me), racial and disability. I think they probably get a kick out of it more than anything when we go to answer the door or find out what they did now. I'm not thinking these kids need severe punishment, but at the same time, I'm at my wits end and the cops don't always come when requested so I would like to have them be more responsive as even though I receive SSDI, I do pay taxes out of that so I am just as much of a tax payer as the employee and that truly has no bearing on it, but I think is some people's minds it is. Being on a limited income I can't afford an attorney nor can I afford to hire someone privately nor can I afford any real good surveillance equipment. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
